Baked sweet potato

Astonished by knowing a fact that they sell "Yakiimo" (baked sweet potato). I wish it is warmer but cannot complain.

Who buy?

This area was planned to be collection of houses; however no one bought but Guell and Gaudi. It seems like people living in Barcelona did not like ice-cream houses.

Park Güell

We took a bus and headed for Park Guell. Lots of tourists, sales and musicians. I was impressed with his performance and besides, he seems to love music with all his soul & body!

Hospital de Sant Pau

A hospital designed by Lluís Domènech i Montaner and was fully functioning until 2009. It is being largely renovated now.

Departed from Sagrada Familia

Departed from Sagrada Familia and headed for Hospital de Sant Pau. Wishing we can come back to this architecture in a few years, hoping the progress of this magnificent project.

Nativity facade

Incredibly intricate sculptures embedded on the facade. Took some time to check one to another.

Inside of the roman catholic church is also spectacular and according to the guidance Gaudi elaborately calculated the effect of natural light.

Sagrada Família

The Basílica i Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Família is a roman catholic church. The project was commenced in 1882 and Gaudi took over its job as architect in 1883. These pictures were taken at Passion Facade.

Casa Terrades

Casa Terrades, aka de les Punxes, is designed by Puig i Cadafalch. The spear-like roof is unique.
